I recently completed the full-time web development course from The Coding Bootcamp at UT Austin but my journey working in digital spaces started while working on my Master's in New Media Studies at DePaul University in Chicago in 2009. While there, I studied the principles of design and how to analyze digital media artifacts. For the last 4 years I put those skills to the test working as the Production Coordinator for a digital publishing firm where I honed my eye for detail and passion for providing great client experiences. I am currently seeking opportunities that will allow me to continue learning and developing my coding skills.

For as long as I can remember I have had an obsessive love of pop culture which in my free time I funnel into my side gig as a Quizmaster for Geeks Who Drink. When I'm not coding or quizzing I can be often be found on Twitter talking about politics, pop culture, and design.
